Wire thread insert (helicoil insert) is a spiral coil formed from rhombic stainless steel wire. When installed into a tapped hole, it creates a precision internal thread with higher strength, wear resistance, and vibration resistance than a directly cut thread.
Suitable for aluminum, magnesium, plastic, cast iron, and other low‑strength materials. Widely used in automotive, aerospace, machinery, electronics, medical equipment, and general industry.
Available in Free Running (FR) and ScrewLock (SL) types:
- FR (Green): Smooth free running, easy assembly.
- SL (Red): Self‑locking, anti‑vibration, no extra fasteners needed.
