Type 302 Self-Tapping Thread Insert

The 302 series is the most widely used of all self-tapping thread inserts, with two slots that not only cut, but also provide a slight inward locking force.
The 303 series is a thinner walled version of the 302 series and is mainly used in plastics or light alloys where thick walls are not possible, and where lubrication may be considered for installation in special cases.
