FH-Flight Free Running Wire Thread Insert is a precision-engineered helical fastener formed from high-strength rhombic stainless steel wire. It is widely used to create high-performance internal threads in aluminum, magnesium alloy, plastic, and other low-shear-strength materials. It also serves as a reliable solution for repairing damaged or worn threads, widely applied in automotive, aerospace, machinery, electronics, and medical industries.
This insert forms a standard ISO internal thread (6H, 5H for special needs) after installation, with free-running performance for smooth screw insertion and removal. It is marked with green color and a diamond embossing for clear identification, ensuring stable quality and easy use.

- Installation Guide
- Drill: Use standard twist drill to make the core hole (refer to parameters)
- Tap: Use FH-Flightspecial ST tap to process internal thread
- Install: Screw the insert into the thread hole with a matching mandrel
- Break Tang: Use tang break-off tool to remove the installation tang (not required for blind holes)
