Wire thread insert, also known as thread sheath, thread insert, is an insert developed to protect non-ferrous metal thread holes, is a new type of internal thread fastener, suitable for threaded connection, screw and fasten in the threaded hole of one of the connected parts, forming a standard internal thread, and then screw the bolt (or screw) into it. It is a spring-like internal and external thread concentric body made of cold-rolled diamond stainless steel wire. It is mainly used to strengthen and protect the internal thread of low-strength materials, eliminate thread manufacturing errors, improve connection strength, effectively reduce the effect of uneven thread acceptance and anti-shock vibration, and extend the life of thread holes.
Cadmium-plated steel wire thread insert has the basic properties of steel wire thread insert, but also has the corrosion resistance, lubrication and stability of cadmium-plated material.

Performance of wire thread insert with cadmium plating
