FH-Flight FH Self-Tapping Thread Inserts are one-piece dual-thread fasteners integrated with cutting slots or cutting holes. Unlike wire thread inserts, they eliminate pre-tapping procedures for base holes, only requiring standard pre-drilling before installation.
As the core solution for lightweight manufacturing thread reinforcement, they create wear-free, vibration-resistant high-load internal threads inside low & medium shear strength substrates, and can perfectly repair stripped, damaged threaded holes without replacing entire workpieces.
We supply complete series to cover diverse working conditions:
- 302 Series (Cutting Slot): For low shear strength materials (aluminum, magnesium, plastic, hardwood)
- 307/308 Series (Cutting Hole): For medium/high shear strength materials (cast iron, copper alloy)
- 337/338 Series (Chip Storage Hole): Special for precision electronic devices, stores cutting debris to avoid component failure
- Hex Socket Type (302 2 / 307 2): Fast batch mounting with hex drive tools
- Shouldered Type (302 1 / 307 1): Flange shoulder provides anti-pull support for multi-layer assembly
